Our sweet lil sugar's (not to be confused with our kitty, Sugar) are still not quite ready to leave home yet, but we're taking names of people and we already have 4 serious inquiries! YAY - and one of them wants 2 puppies (cross your fingers!). Mom's making a website for the dogs... we don't see the puppies as a business - we aren't breeders - mom says "We just have these dogs as our pets, and nature takes it's course so we have puppies about twice a year." :D But posting an ad in the newspaper is SOOOO expensive. I forget the numbers but I heard mom telling granny about it and I was shocked. I think for only advertising in Sunday's paper it is $50 ?? Something like that - well if you consider that not all of the puppies are going to sell in one week - it starts to add up with all of the advertising. So we (my parents) decided to create a website and get a waiting list going, if possible, that way when the next litter comes around we just have to notify people that they are born and then when they're ready - something like that. Tasha should be next in line to have puppies. Duchess' puppies, the ones we have now, are SO cute, and getting big. They look a lot better than Tasha's did last year... although they got parvo - the poor things, so it's not their fault LOL. I took the official puppy pictures for the website... I'm probably going to have to take more if they don't sell and they start changing. Gotta keep the puppy-site up to date. Mom even thought about setting up a "puppy-cam" like those people did with the Akita's or whatever that breed was that the video link was going out all over the internet.
